Chatbase is an AI chatbot builder that allows you to create a custom ChatGPT-like chatbot for your data. To create a chatbot, you can upload your documents or add a link to your website. The data can be in the form of one or multiple files (.pdf, .txt, .doc, .docx), text pastes, or links to be scraped from your website.
Once created, the chatbot can be added as a widget to your website or accessed through the API. You can give your chatbot instructions, edit the base prompt, give it a name, and define personality traits.
The data you provide for your chatbot is stored securely on GCP/AWS servers in the us-east region. By default, the chatbot uses ChatGPT (gpt-3.5-turbo).
Chatbase supports about 95 languages, allowing you to have your sources in any language and ask the chatbot questions in any language. You can also choose to share your chatbot, as by default any chatbot you create is private, but the setting can be changed to make it public and shareable.
