Our assessment after reviewing the evidence
Use a varied batch of real invoices before automating accounting work. Compare extracted totals, tax fields and line items with the originals, and test cancellation and reprocessing costs. Strong extraction feedback does not remove the need for human approval.
How we would evaluate it
Test clean PDFs, scans and an awkward multi-page sample. Measure correction time for invoice numbers, dates, line items and totals before connecting downstream records. A tool that needs extensive repair may not beat your current process.
